TIKAL
In the morning we pick you up at your hotel or airport for the trip to the largers Mayan archaeological site of the classical period, counts with 4000 structures, one of them is the highest of ancient Americas. It was declared by UNESCO as cultural and natural heritage of humanity in 1979.
You'll visit the Great Plaza, Temple I, II, III and IV, the complex of astronomical observartion "Lost World" and other smaller buildings.

This is the third largest archaeological site in Guatemala, very important for the many structures very near of each other. Many of this buildings were built more than 15th centuries ago.
You will visit the Temple of the Red Hands, several ceremonial causeways, the ball court and more.

This morning you will be picked up at the airport or you hotel to be moved south of Peten to the river "La Pasión" it was very important for trade between ancient Mayan cities, we'll go on a boat to arrive to the archaeological site "Ceibal" a mayan city abandoned over a millennium ago, now covered with lush tropical rain forest.
